What is Advent?

 

How much do you hate waiting? Be honest. On a scale of 1 - hungry toddler, I might be an 11. Don't try to do the math in your head.

We wait for lots of things.

• a call, text, or email back
• a package to come in the mail
• a test result
• a diagnosis
• an answer to a question
• a paycheck

Waiting isn't always our favorite thing to do. But, what about when the waiting comes with anticipation of something good--something hope-filled?

Some of you may have grown up in church where you acknowledged the season of Advent. Some of you have never heard of it. It's an entire season dedicated to waiting with anticipation for an arrival of hope. Hope is a person. Take time to learn more HERE about the wonderful season of Advent.
